Do you love seeing Rainbows?

Updated: Apr 24, 2020

I love seeing rainbows, they always remind me of peace and hope returning after a storm. During

difficult times, rainbows can remind us that the sun will shine again and things will be ok.

What can we learn from Rainbows?

Rainbows are always a nice surprise to see in the sky. Sometimes you may even see a rainbow in your home or an unexpected place when the sun shines thru a prism, crystal of glass object. Rainbows usually appear after the rain and remind us that the storm has passed. Even when we may be having a bad day or going thru a challenging time, rainbows may appear to remind us that hope is near. Rainbows can encourage us to trust that we are divine and whatever we are going thru will pass.

The Rainbow teaches us we are Divine

Helping others with Art

Art is a powerful tool to bring healing. We can create art to shift our own mood and we can share art to help others. You can share by hanging your art in a window, mailing a picture to a friend or posting a picture online for all to see. When we share art we can inspire others to create art and we can bring a smile to their face.

Time to make Rainbow Art

Let's get started. This art project is for all ages and designed to help you calm your mind and enter a space of joy and fun. You can even use supplies that you have around the house, no need to go out and buy anything new!

You will need:

• Paper (scrap paper, construction paper, or magazine clippings)

• Scissors

• Glue

• Paints, crayons, markers, watercolors, oil pastels

Let your imagination run wild and have fun!

- First, gather or create various sheets of colored paper. We will need red, orange, yellow, green, blue and purple. You can create your own using crayons, paint or recycled magazine pages.

- Second, cut paper into small squares

-Third, on a background piece of paper, draw 6 rainbow arcs, one for each color.

- Fourth, glue the small paper squares to each rainbow arc. You can cut out your rainbow and add a string to the top to hang in your window or send your rainbow to a friend.

Display and Share your Art

Hang your creation in your home or share with a friend. You will always have a reminder of the Rainbow's message!
